Anita Eck, PA-C Caring for patients through all aspects of their life.

Anita Eck, PA has been with Tri-County Family Medicine for over 20 years. She has been serving our community as a primary care provider and preceptor for physician assistant students. Anita has called Tri-County home for her entire career!

Receiving her education in Texas, Anita graduated from the University of Texas and relocated to New York state to begin her career as a physician assistant. Later, she expanded her career by becoming a clinical instructor for Rochester Institute of Technology’s physician assistant students.

Tri-County’s focus on family and sense of community is what drew Anita to practice here. “Being in a rural community has allowed me to interact with my patients, both while caring for them and interacting with them in the community. I enjoy that!”

Anita’s love of helping people influenced her to practice family medicine. Her position enables her to care for patients through all aspects of their lives, from newborn to the elderly. “I have patients that are now having children and am caring for them as well as their aging parents. Not only is this a bonus, but this family history aids me in caring for them.”

Beyond work, Anita serves in the community as a board member at the Vincent House, a local hospice home and volunteers at the Cohocton Food Pantry. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
