She completed her Master's of Science degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner through Stony Brook University, and is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Having worked in several acute inpatient positions, she realized she wanted a career in primary care.
She wanted to be able to build relationships, follow patients’ progress, and assist patients in preventing or managing many of the diseases that lead to hospitalization. When not at work you can find Leah with her husband, three boys, and pets. Her family enjoys cooking and hosting family cook-outs. They also enjoy embarking on adventures with their boys and creating memories that will last a lifetime. She was glad to join Tri-County Family Medicine so she can help to improve the health and lives of the people in her own community.
