Richard Parker, MD From serving our country to serving our community.

Dr. Richard Parker has been a physician for 34 years. After earning his degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine, Dr. Parker started his medical career in the U.S. Navy. Over 24 years, he worked his way up to Director of the Navy Branch Health Clinic, before joining Tri-County Family Medicine in 2008.

Tri-County gives Dr. Parker the opportunity to serve, through medicine, and serving is what keeps him motivated. He also enjoys working with people who work hard at their rural jobs. It’s why he chose to join us.

“I chose a career in medicine because I felt like it was the best way that I could help others.”

When it comes to patient care, Dr. Parker believes that enabling the patient is the best way to improve health and maintain good health.

Dr. Parker enjoys working with his hands. Remodeling is one of this favorite past times. He also enjoys time outdoors with his family, hunting, fishing, and hiking.
